2022, a year of growth, celebration, and challenge, is nearly over. This year we established new programs, expanded our mental health supports, launched a new website, perfected BridgingApps App Search Tool, had a fully in-person Walk With Me, and continued to connect over 14,500 children and adults with disabilities, veterans, service members and their families with our transformative resources and services. These were HUGE wins.
Unfortunately, our fundraising efforts are struggling to keep up with the demand for our crucial programs. If everyone receiving this email donated $15 we would hit our year-end goal. For the remainder of the year an anonymous donor is willing to match EVERY gift up to $100,000! Easter Seals Greater Houston's high quality, free or low cost programs help our neighbors reach the height of their potential. Babies in our Early Childhood Intervention program receive therapy that help them enter school on pace with their peers. Teens with disabilities skillsets and opportunities are expanded through job training and mentorship. We partner with Veterans, Service Members, and their families to help meet their needs around reintegration, stability, wellness, and growth. Our Financial Coaches help families learn to manage their finances and achieve the dream of homeownership. These are just some of the wrap-around services that are deeply impactful and lead to greater independence and self-reliance.
We take pride in our cohesive programs and desperately want to be able to continue to offer help, hope, and answers to every single person that walks (or rolls) through our doors. We NEED your help to keep these programs free or extremely low-cost. Support improving education, advancing health, expanding employment, and enhancing the community today!
