Before Easter Seals Greater Houston’s Early Childhood Intervention Program (ECI) came into our lives our son had major delays in just about every area. We were unsure of his ability to function in school. Now that he is nearing three years old we are confident in the transitioning process of him starting pre-k. He is school ready! Our son’s speech has gone from about 5 words to 50 and is increasing daily. He now knows his shapes, colors, does well with transitioning and his aggression has ceased. He can handle social settings in a much healthier way. Not only does the program work but the therapists are so knowledgeable, patient, kind and consistent.
