Easter Seals Greater Houston provides life-changing services for people of all ages – including babies! The Early Childhood Intervention Program (ECI) supports infants, babies and toddlers ages 0-36 months. ECI offers an array of services based on each child's unique needs, including but not limited to Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Specialized Skills Training (SST), Case Management and Nutrition. Every ECI client gets a team of specialists who work with their family to help them reach their goals and developmental milestones. Our therapists, specialists and case managers are dedicated to their clients’ success, always going the extra mile to meet families where they are and work with parents to meet their baby’s needs.

“Our son John-Paul was enrolled in ECI at 10 months of age after motor delay was identified at his 9 month well child visit. With the help of our wonderful PT he started crawling by his first birthday and was walking at 16 months. Soon we also identified the need for speech and SST and are grateful that we got two more excellent providers to be part of JP’s team. I have seen tremendous growth in my son’s skills. I will never forget the first time I heard my son say “mommy” and excitedly texting his SLP and EIS. I am also grateful to the support his therapists give me as a parent and how they encourage our growth as a family.”

“Our sweet Beatriz (Bea) started ECI in September of 2023. They have many great suggestions for us to do at home with her to continue her therapy when the team is not there. It ranges from small changes we can do while holding her to creating a vision box for her to lie in. The second we put her in the vision box we could tell she enjoyed it.
