Adult Program Out & About
Easter Seals Greater Houston's Adult Program (LEAD) is all about creating opportunities for adults with disabilities to connect, grow and enjoy new experiences. For many adults living with disabilities, physical barriers, communication barriers and societal perceptions make social integration challenging. We work to break down those barriers by providing a safe and supportive environment where adults can socialize with other adults with disabilities and engage in recreational activities enjoyed by all adults.
Recently, our adults got to cheer on the Houston Astros, an outing that's always a highlight! They've also been enjoying A.D. Players' sensory friendly performances at The George Theatre.
The Adult Program meets twice a week, with activities like yoga, crafts, and games on Mondays, and community outings on Wednesdays. Additionally, our seasonal sessions offer classes in fitness, art, drama therapy, and more, ensuring participants always have new ways to engage.
