Tee-It-Up at Topgolf 2025 Raised $70,000 for Easter Seals Greater Houston Programs!

Easter Seals’ second annual Tee-It-Up at Topgolf Tournament and Auction drew 150 attendees and raised $70,000 to support its wrap-around services for people of all ages with disabilities, seniors, veterans, caregivers and their families.

The event was co-chaired by James Payne and Lauren Perillo, both Associates with Vinson & Elkins LLP.

The Perillo family history with Easter Seals runs deep – Lauren’s mother, Donna Perillo, was a long-time member of the Board of Directors – but Lauren’s reasons for supporting are much more than family obligation or legacy. Lauren started volunteering in high school through the Easter Seals Youth Action Council and continues to this day. “I can’t overstate how impactful and unique this organization is,” she says. “I’ve seen first-hand how Easter Seals changes lives.”

Like most young adults who don’t have a direct connection to it, James wasn’t familiar with Easter Seals when Lauren asked him to co-chair Tee-It-Up, but after seeing the impact, he says he’ll be a life-long supporter. “The range of services and deep care and individualization they provide for families is truly amazing,” he said. “I was also shocked to hear how efficient the organization is – over $0.91 of every dollar goes directly to client services.” Easter Seals is honored to now have his genuine support.

Tee-It-Up at Topgolf 2025 benefiting Easter Seals Greater Houston was presented by Local Presenting Sponsor Aetna and Gold Sponsors EPAM and Troutman Pepper Locke. Other sponsors included: Complete Care Medical, Empire Wireline, Bill Martin, Janet and Mark McNulty, Robertsons Team, Seamless Solutions, and Vinson & Elkins LLP.

Easter Seals hopes the Tee-It-Up at Topgolf Tournament will continue to draw young professionals passionate about improving their community to learn about Easter Seals Greater Houston’s mission and get involved.
