Accessibility Statement for eastersealshouston.org

We want everyone who visits the Easter Seals Greater Houston website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding, going above and beyond the recommendations stated in Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act 1998.

What did we do?

To help us make the eastersealsgreaterhouston.org website a positive place for everyone, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 (https://www.w3.org/WAI/standards-guidelines/wcag/). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, more compatible with assistive technology, and more user friendly for all.

How did we do it?

Our BridgingApps.org program has paved the way for us as they worked with Sigao Studios and we are implementing the same changes to achieve Level AA accessibility.
