The Arc of Fort Bend County: SNEAK Calendar(Special Needs Events and Activities)

The Music Therapy Center of Houston: Provides music therapy services as well as community education about music therapy to the greater Houston area.

Challenge Air for Kids and Friends: Offers inspiration and self-esteem building to children and youth with physical challenges through aviation, by providing a day to focus on their Abilities.

 

Sports and Exercise

Amputee and Adaptive Tennis Houston: To promote and develop the amputee population to enjoy and realize the benefits of tennis. 

Ballet for special needs students who are five years of age and older with learning disabilities

Discover Fitness Foundation Gymnastic Classes: Provides gymnastics scholarships for children with disabilities and those fighting obesity.

Bowling for the Greater Good

Daddies Board Shop: Adaptive snowboarding and other winter sports.

YMCA and The Miracle League at Langham Creek:Providing opportunities for children with special needs to play baseball, regardless of their abilities.

Bouncin' Bears Indoor Play Facility in Spring

Sky High Sports: The Trampoline Place

Challenger Little League: A baseball league for children 4-18 (or until the completion of High School) with physical or mental challenges.

South Belt Little League

Metropolitan Multi Service Center Adaptive Sports and Recreation

Challenger Football: A football league for those ages 5-25 with mental or physical disabilities.

All-Star Martial Arts: Offers a "Samurai" class for those with physical, emotional, or developmental disabilities

K2 Academy of Kids Sports' SOAR(Success and Opportunity Achieved through Recreation) program: An adaptive gymnastics program for children with disabilities.

Soaring Kidz: Provides sports, recreational and educational activities for children with disabilities.

 

 

Water Activities

Wave of Impact

Sailing Angels: Providing a special sailing experience for children with special needs.

Hearts of Sailing Program:Teaches sailing to special needs children as a form of recreational therapy.

Fort Bend Family YMCA S.N.A.P (Special Needs Acquatic Program): Swim lessons for children ages three and up with special needs, held at the Fort Bend YMCA.

Texas Adaptive Aquatics: Allows people ages five and up with physical or mental disabilities the opportunity to participate in water skiing, sailing, and kayaking.

 

Summer Camps

The Friendship Circle: Summer Camps for Individuals with Special Needs.

Project T.A.L.K.: A summer camp for children ages 4-10 with hearing loss.

The River: A program of TUTS Education, provides accessible, affordable fine arts education for individuals with disabilities.

Annual Special Needs Activities

Lil' Rustlers Rodeo: Rodeo activities for children with disabilities.

Morgan's Wonderland: The world's largest park for children with special needs located in San Antonio.
iCanBike Camps

Conoco-Phillips Rodeo Run

Conroe Noon Lions Club Kids on the Lake: A free fishing tournament for special needs children ages five and up. For more information, please call 936.760.1666.
