Family Day Out & Parents Night Out

Family Day Out - Houston

Family Day Out is a morning camp for children with disabilities (ages 6-14) and their siblings (ages 6-10). This program is hosted one Saturday morning per month at The Caroline School. Campers are paired one to one with a volunteer, who helps lead them through activities such as arts & crafts, group games, and more! We also have an onsite nurse and director for assistance with toileting, medication, and specialized feeds.

Family Day Out - Montgomery County

Due to COVID-19, Family Day Out Montgomery County is on hiatus until further notice

Residents of Montgomery County are invited to this local Family Day Out location.

If your child attended summer camp (Camp Buckaroo or Camp Smiles) this summer, you do not need to fill out an application - all you need to do is RSVP to Andi Fry. If your child did not attend summer camp this summer, please contact Andi Fry for an application before RSVP'ing. Siblings ages 6-14 are invited to attend FDO Montgomery County. Space is limited for FDO so please RSVP and send your child's application in advance.

Parents Night Out (PNO)

PNO is a Friday night out-of-home Respite program currently held in two locations around the Houston area. Children, teens, and young adults with disabilities are welcome to come and have an out-of-home opportunity to socialize in a safe and fun environment. Depending on age and activity level, one of the two locations can be recommended for appropriate care. For more information, please email us.

Pre-registration required. Please complete application and submit to Kelly Knight for Katy and Adriana Rico for Houston.

PNO Location Details

Houston: 6-9pm for clients ages 6-16 and siblings ages 6-12.

Katy: 6-9pm for clients ages 12-21 and siblings ages 12-16.


*In the event of inclement weather, Easter Seals follows school closings. When HISD, KISD, and SBISD close due to weather, Easter Seals also closes.
