Volunteer Opportunities

Easter Seals Greater Houston proudly serves Veterans, service members, children and adults with all types of disabilities, and their families in a multitude of ways. This means that we have a vast number of volunteer opportunities that would be perfect for individuals and groups! Helping hands are always needed! Fill out our Volunteer Interest Form.

**With the exception of camps, volunteers must be 16 years of age to volunteer for our programs without an adult chaperone; Volunteers 13-16 must be accompanied by an adult. Volunteers 18 and over will be required to complete a background check.

Adult Day Program
Volunteer with our Adult Day Program on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m and/or 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, please complete the volunteer interest form.

Saturday Bowling
Enjoy a fun day of assisting adults with disabilities bowl with adaptive equipment. Volunteer opportunities are on most 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month. For more information, please complete the volunteer interest form.

Family Day Out
Family Day Out is a Saturday camp for children with disabilities and their siblings. Campers are paired one-on-one with a buddy volunteer for a day full of arts & crafts, group games, and more! Family Day Out takes place in Houston and Montgomery County. For more information, please complete the volunteer interest form.

Parents Night Out (PNO)
Parents Night Out (PNO) is a Friday night out-of-home Respite program held in Houston and Katy. Children, teens, and young adults with disabilities are welcome. For more information, please complete the volunteer interest form.

Camps
Easter Seals Greater Houston hosts multiple day and overnight camps for children ages 6-21 with disabilities. For more information, please complete the volunteer interest form.

Ready to Achieve Mentoring (RAMP)
RAMP is a career-focused mentoring program for youth with disabilities involved, or at-risk of becoming involved, with the juvenile justice system. Everyone has life and career experience to share with our youth. Often, our youth have not yet recognized their strengths, yet through the relationship with their mentor, opportunities and career options become available that they never thought possible.
